Tomatoes – Tuesday’s Jigsaw Puzzle

My wife finally picked her first full sized tomato today. She was rather proud of it. She’s been getting the cherry tomatoes for a while.
I can’t figure out cherry tomatoes. They don’t look like cherries, they don’t taste like cherries, and they don’t have pits like cherries.
Why don’t they just call them baby tomatoes? They have baby carrots, after all.
OK, now my brain is starting to hurt. I think I’ll just go watch Star Trek.
Captain Kirk doesn’t require as much brain power to figure out.
