Thursday’s Jigsaw Puzzle – Guitars

My parents bought me an electric guitar when I was a kid. They had to order it from Sears, which did not have it in stock.
The amplifier showed up right away. I had to wait for almost six months before the guitar showed up.
I wasn’t very good on it. The strings were too hard to press down to do chords.
It wasn’t until years later when I bought an acoustical guitar with nylon strings that I figured out the bridge was too high on the electric guitar.
The acoustical guitar was easier to play, and while I never got good enough to perform, I did OK.
These days the only thing I play is the remote. I can flip channels like a pro, and do it for hours.
