Paddle Boats – Friday’s Jigsaw Puzzle
When I was a kid I went in a paddle boat with a bigger kid. A mean bigger kid.
When we got out into the water, he dove in and swam to shore, leaving me alone in the boat. It was hard for me to make it go, because my feet barely reached the peddles.
I kept going in circles before I figured out how to steer the thing. He had a big laugh at my expense.
He never did figure out how that snake ended up in his bed, though.
The moral of this story: Don’t mess with kids that like snakes, especially if you are terrified of them.
