When I first saw the photograph in today’s jigsaw puzzle, I thought it looked like some strange kind of long thin square boxes.
Perhaps they held ancient scrolls, swords, or even Japanese spaghetti!
Then I got a closer look and things just seemed to snap into focus, and I realized what they were.
Can you tell what they are?

The writing on the sign looks familiar, but I can’t place where I’ve seen this kind of writing before. If you know where it’s from, let me know.
I’m still on my vegetable and salad kick, and it seems to be helping. I’ve got a bit more energy and the clothes are a tad bit looser.
