There is a nice waterfall in the Blue Ridge Mountains I once visited with my girlfriend years ago. She showed it to me on a warm summer’s day. While there wasn’t a cave behind it like you see in the movies, there was a ledge there where we sat and talked for hours.
We could see through the water, and some other swimmers showed up but never noticed us.
It was a pleasant day for both of us.

Friday, August 29th, 2008My great uncle had a tractor on his farm up in Michigan. I remember riding in his lap as we did a few laps around the field. He didn’t really farm much by then, but he still loved the land.
Still, watching him work on the tractor inspired me to want to learn how mechanical things worked.
